The construction began on the CN Tower on February 6, 1973. Construction was finished on April 2, 1975. It took 785 days to build the CN Tower.

The first person to ascend the CN Tower was Doug Matheson, who made the climb on April 2, 1975, before the tower officially opened to the public. He was part of the construction crew and scaled the tower as part of the final phases of its completion. The CN Tower was inaugurated later that year, on June 26, 1976.

The cn tower is a shell structure, but it is also has materials piled up together so it is a shell structure and a mass structure.
No. Though a very strong tornado might cause it to collapse.

Climbing all 1,776 steps of the CN Tower typically takes an average person about 30 to 45 minutes, depending on their fitness level and pace. Competitive climbers can complete it in around 15 minutes or less. The time can vary based on factors like rest breaks and individual stamina.
The main thing is "be in the CN tower". It's quite tall, and you can ride an elevator up to the round disk part, which contains a restaurant, and get a pretty good view of the city. There's another elevator that goes up to an even higher observation deck at the base of the radio antenna. In addition to the "wow, I'm way up here" and "wow, I'm way up here and eating too" attractions, there's a 3D movie theater, and a "motion theatre ride"... you know, the sort where your seat moves around as you watch a movie. I think these technically may be at the tower rather than in the tower; I believe they're underground at the base, though it's been a while since I've been there and I'm not positive about that.
I just walked up the CN tower as part of a fundraiser and it took me 21 minutes to do it. The average time is around 30-35 minutes although the world record time is just 8 minutes!.
The CN Tower has stairs that are open to the public. There are stair-climbing events that are held annually as fundraising efforts. Feel free to climb (or even run) up a half kilometer or so of stairs if you like, but I prefer taking the elevator.
