Vladimir Lenin seized control of Russia during World War 1 after the October Revolution. When Tsar Nicholas II abdicated and power went to the Provisional Government, neither of its leaders "seized" control of Russia. It was given to them because no one else wanted it.
After Vladimir Lenin seized control of Russia in 1917, the nation turned to communist values. The government took all the land from private ownership and put it work as a government entity.
The military in Paris under his control seized the government.
Siam, now known as Thailand.
No, Germany never seized Moscow from the Soviet Military in WW2.
The Bolsheviks seized Russia during the revolution against the ruling Czar.
He seized the city of Tehran with almost no opposition in 1921.
When the Bolshevik's seized power in Russia, they negotiated the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk with the Central Powers. In the treaty, Russia reneged on all previous treaty obligations to the "Triple Entente". The fairly high casualty count, heavy toll on the economy of supporting the war (including food shortages), military failures by Russian forces, deteriorating military morale, and offers of support to the Bolshevik rebels from the Germans weakened the Imperial Russian government to the point that first the Tsar was forced to abdicate and then the provisional government ceded control to the Bolsheviks. Even so, Russia was still embroiled in a civil war so fighting both the Central Powers and continuing the civil war was simply infeasible and the Bolsheviks found it very advantageous to sign the treaty and withdraw Russian forces from participation in WW I.
Candragupta Maurya
After Lenin seized control, he wanted to eliminate other political party rivals in Russia. He did this by starting a civil war in which he formed and led the Red Army. Then, after that, he formed Communist International to start revolution in the rest of the world (in order to create more communism). Also, his dictatorship caused the U.S. anxiety. During the Russian Civil war they supported the Whites (which were the non-communist political parties that existed in Russia at the time) because they feared that Lenin would try to spread communism elsewhere outside of Russia. Annnddd, he did.. as we now know. His dictatorship also caused the Red Scare hysteria in the U.S.
