Well, presuming that the there have been no renervations to the White House since i visited last the living space are for the President in the White House consists of two different rooms, one for summer one for winter. The summer room has a corner fountain large antique sofas and a gorgeous ceiling fan that has been there since the house was built. The winter room has a large open fire a bookcase and recliners and a couch that President Bush bought and has left for other Presidantial families to enjoy. For the First Family, the second and third floors are effectively their "house". The first floor is used mostly for formal events, and the ground floor and the sub-basements are mainly utility rooms (kitchen, laundry, storage, etc.)
