Can you find out your username or password on poptropica?

The idea behind Poptropica is to use your own puzzle-solving abilities, not use somebody else's. Aside from spending the credits, what would be the purpose of having a completely-solved set of islands?

THE NEW PASSWORD RECOVERY FEATURE for Poptropica

Beginning in May, 2010, your Poptropica username(s) can be linked to an e-mail account. This is not required to use Poptropica. However, only accounts that have an associated e-mail account can recover a password. This is an extension of the "parent e-mail" which is used to purchase credits or merchandise in the Poptropica store. You should not use this feature without parental permission.

Usernames that are not linked to an e-mail address cannot be recovered.

After creating a character on Poptropica, you "save" your Username and Password (which is not the same thing as your avatar name, such as Leaping Whale). This allows you to re-enter Poptropica with the same character and continue to play.

If you register an e-mail address with Poptropica, they can help you recover a lost password. It will be sent to the parental e-mail on file. Otherwise, there is no way to recover a password. You will have to start all over.

Do not list usernames or passwords on WikiAnswers, unless you want to risk losing the account permanently. Poptropica will not help you get your character back.

If you cannot remember your username, but you have registered an e-mail with the Poptropica site, you can have it mailed to your listed e-mail. The same goes for a lost password. It is much easier to record your username and password (someplace safe) so that you don't have to use the recovery system.

If you have NOT registered your username, you cannot recover it, or a password.

Only if you register an e-mail address with your Username when you set up your account. If you forget your password or someone steals your avatar, you can have the current password mailed to that e-mail.
