EASIEST way is to walk up to it, it will kill itself
but a BETTER way is with a bow and arrow, so you kill it from afar before it has a chance to blow up, so its explosion wont cause land or personal damage, and so you can take its unused gunpowder, yay!

∙ 11y agoYou have to repeatedly use your weapons to strike at the wither. It is recommended to have enchanted weapons and armor so that you deal more damage to the wither and take less damage from the wither. Also, the wither is a boss in minecraft and can fly so it is not easy to kill. The best place to kill it is underground so it can't fly away.
You can attack it with your bow, but you have to use a sword when its health reaches halfway. If you spawn it in a lit underground place with no hostiles (creepers,skeletons,ect) and have weapons, it might be easier.

∙ 10y agoyou should hit the creeper pull back then when it does not look like it is about to blow up do in hit it one more time pull back and do the same so then you wont get blown up in the face. You can also use an enchanted sword with knock back, or a bow from a long distance.

∙ 8y agoDon't look at its face, put a Jack-O-Lantern on your head if you can and keep hitting their feet and don't let them get to close. Hitting their feet wont make them teleport.
