How do you add friends in poptropica?

You can play against other players, but unless you already know the person playing (in real life) there is no way to "make friends" or even see the same avatars again except by chance.

In multiplayer rooms such as the Soda Pop Shop (Early Poptropica), or the Coconut Cafe (Shark Tooth island), players can play games against other players, but all remain anonymous. If you see a player in the rooms, you can only meet them again by random chance, because several copies of each room exist and you never know which one you will enter.

The "multiverse" rooms are private rooms to which you can invite your personal friends, who receive a code that lets them enter your room while you are there. There is no way on the Poptropica site to give strangers your room code. When you leave, the room closes.

go to a hang out place on poptropica go in pick a person it will say battle or chat chose one the you say it wait... then play it go somewhere lke the dalit paper and people will be online. Click on one and it will say chat or battle. click battle, and pick your game. then you wait for the other player, and begin playing!
