1. Get a microphone
2. Plug it into your computer
3. Go into half life 2 death match and then go to options->voice
4. Click detect hardware
5. Click test microphone
6. Speak into the microphone to make sure it works
7. Switch to the "Keyboard" tab of the options menu
8. Go down to communication and find "use voice communication"
9. press edit key
10. press a key you want to hold down when you talk
11. press apply
12. In-game, hold down the key you assigned in step 10 (you should see a speaker in the bottom right corner of your screen while holding the key down) and speak.
