How to recruit groudon in Pokemon red rescue team.
First get a friend bow because groudon only has a 10 percent chance of joining , so the friend bow raises the percentage up to 60%. The max amount of tries it takes is twice at most with this meathod. Hopes this helps.

∙ 13y agoBecause Groudon is a legendary, you should be at a gold rank, or even higher, to make recruiting him easier. You can recruit him at any rank, but a higher one is probably better. If this doesn't work, you just have to keep battling him. Eventually, you will have your Groudon.

What you need to do is to unlock wigglytuffs freind club and then when you go into dungeons and beat Pokemon if you have their freind area and they have a freindly attitude to you then they will ask you to join {You unlock wigglytuffs after you beat skarmory and bring digleet home

∙ 8y agoGo back where he was and fight him again. He has a very low recruitment rate, it is in fact a negative figure, -10%. That means you need to be at least level 60 to even have a chance, and even then, it's only 2.5%. The highest you'll get is by being level 90 or more, and with a Friend Bow, which is a total bonus of +34% against his -10%, so 24% chance in total. groudon has a base -10 per. to join your team . So take a friend bow (+10%) and a <80lvl Pokemon and fight it lots of times .If you have a lower lvl don't worry, just fight it a lot
