How do you get to the cannon in world 2 in New Super Mario Bros DS?

In New Super Mario Bros Wii, in World 1 go to level 3 and find a question mark block with Yoshi in it,then leave Yoshi there and go until you see some little brown creatures called "Goombas" who are also Bowser's minions. After you find yellow Yoshi after green Yoshi leave yellow Yoshi where he is and keep Mario walking and find another block and jump under it it may happen to be blue Yoshi or pink Yoshi. Use Yoshi to fly into a secret place and you will go into a pipe that you just walk in(don't jump) then you will be a a place which is the end of the level and go to the TOP of the red Bowser flag and get a 1-up then there you go! You get the cannon in World 1 and go in it and get to World 5! I hope you try to get to the other cannons!

Cannon (World 1)Enter to the first tower. Go to pipe who shoots you under the coins and shoot yourself. Then enter the door next to you. In the room, there is a secret passageway. Jump onto the top block on your left, and run right, into the side of your Nintendo screen. You must be shell Mario for this bit. Enter your shell in the new room and break the blocks. Then break the blocks in front of a red pipe, too. Then enter the pipe and you'll fall down out of tower. The flagpole is here!

Cannon (World 2)

First you have got to unlock world 2 'A' . Then complete this level until the water runs out. Next go on the last spinner and avoid all the platforms. Then land on the cooper and use the boost to get you up to the tube, then go through the tube and do what is obvious.

Cannon (World 3)Go onto the ghost house on world 3. Complete it normally, until you get to a dead end. Then, hit the grey block, jump on the switch, and immediately run back to the last switch before time is up. There will be 2 doors. Go through the one on the left, and you will see a red flagpole. Cannon (World 4)On world 4, go though the ghost house and instead of taking the door, use Koopa Mario to break though the blocks. This will take a while, but what you have to do is be sure you stop yourself before you bounce back too far! Then you will take the pipe. You will see the red flagpole! Cannon (World 5)Go into the ghost house. Complete the level normally, until you reach an enormous set of stairs. Thar will be 3 grey blocks on your left. Get on top of them, and jump. If you manage it, 3 other grey blocks will appear. Go on top of them. Now jump on the middle one. (If you are super Mario or fire Mario, you need to crouch while jumping) Hopefully, a long stalk thing will appear. Climb it to the top. Wait for the boxing guy to break the blocks, then go through the door. It will take you to another place. Go on the big long pink/white thing. After a long time of going up and down, you will reach the top. Go through the door, and see the red flagpole.

First enter the w3 ghost house. Go all the way to the right and when you've reached that part, there's a

brick. In that brick is an orange switch. If you jump on it a door will appear

on the upper left of you, as you can see. Do NOT enter that one. Instead, go

back to the previous switch and you'll see a door has appeared next to it

(inbetween the switch and the door). You'll need to be fast to reach that

door, because it'll dissappear when the music (ticking) is over. Enter the door to reach another alternate exit to a Warp Cannon.

Take the secret exit in the ghost house. When you come to a dead end where you have to hit a block to reveal a switch, press it and then go back to the previous switch quickly. There will be two doors next to it. Go through the one on the left, and you will be at the red flag. You should now be able to get to the warp cannon.

This answer is for the DS. First, you get blue turtle shell. Then, you go to the first tower in world 1. And play that course until you get to the part where you get shot up through the first pipe. Then you'll see a door as you go up. Slide down the wall and go through the door. Once you go in the room, there will be a bunch of moving platforms. To the right of the star coin is an opening that never closes. Get up there and run into the opening. Now here's where you'll need the turtle shell. Become the turtle by dashing and you will see that you are destroying the blocks. But, before you do that you will see a gold pipe. DO NOT GO THROUGH IT! After, you have bashed all the blocks, go through the small opening. Then, become turtle again and bash the blocks blocking the other pipe. (not the gold one) Go through it and go to the goal with the red flag. Then, once you go back to the map, you will have unlocked the cannon. The cannon brings you to world 5!

World 1-Tower to World 5:

First, get a Koopa Shell in your reserve. Then, enter World 1-Tower. Once you reach the flag, use the green pipe to blast off. Enter the door and get a Star Coin. Then, carefully make your way to the top right corner. Jump to get a 1-Up Mushroom and some coins. Activate your Koopa Shell. Shell Dash to break the bricks. Break the other three bricks blocking the red pipe. Enter it and pull down the flag to unlock the cannon. Now all your have to do is enter it and off we go!

World 2-A to World 5:

When the flag appears, use the Spin Block and then land on the Koopa to access the yellow pipe. Get the Star Coin and then use the red pipe. Hit the blocks to get coins. Go a little to the right to get more coins. Simply touch the flagpole and use the cannon.

World 3-Ghost House to World 6:

Head to the right until you see the elevator and stairs. Once the elevator is coming down, hit the ? Switch to make the stairs appear. Climb them to get to another ? Switch inside a block. Hit it to get make the stairs appear and two doors. Quickly run back to where you were at and enter the leftmost door. If you see a Boo, you used the right door. End the level by touching the flagpole and entering the cannon.

World 4-Ghost House to World 7:

First, get a Mini Mushsroom in your reserve. Start by heading to the right, then enter the door. Hit the ? Switch to make four ? Blocks appear. Then just stand on one to get pulled up high. If you miss the ride, enter and exit the door. Once you see the Balloon Boo, go left and hit the ! Switch while avoiding the Boo. Climb up on the red platform with the pipe, but don't enter it. Instead, climb on top of it. Activate the Mini Mushroom. Wall jump to get up high. Wall jump even more to get a Star Coin. Exit the door. Be careful, there's a Boo outside. Grab the flag to complete the level. Complete the cannon the same way you completed the others.

World 5-Ghost House to World 8:

Go upstairs until you see three blocks next to each other. Go on top of them, and jump. You should see three blocks, two lower one higher in between. Jump on the middle one. Duck and jump to reveal a hidden beanstalk. Climb all the way up above the Broozer. Wait for it to open the passage way for you can when it falls, enter the door. Now wait for the elevator to get to the top. Be careful when it wiggles. When it falls down, don't wall jump. Just drop down. Then it'll quickly rise up to the top. Be careful it doesn't push you into enemies. If you like, so can head to the right and get a Star Coin. Exit the door. Look out for the Boo. Touch the flagpole and use the cannon. That's all five cannons!

You access it from World 3-Tower, and you need to be Mini Mario, so get a Mini Mushroom from a red mushroom house first.

Swim up through the level as normal, avoiding the fish. Two square blocks block the path upwards, just below pairs of spiked crushers that come from the sides. When the two blocks move up, they split and go either side, you must follow the right hand one to a small pipe that only Mini Mario can enter.

You'll then have another small section to navigate, but at the end is the secret exit which opens the way to World 3's cannon.

I think it's about halfway up the tower level, there is a door that leads to a room with moving green blocks to stand on. There is also a block that gives different amount of coins depending on when you hit it. On the right of the room the blocks are going into a gap. Go into that gap, it leads to a secret exit to the level, that leads to the cannon I believe.
