Hold on the START button then turn on ur Nintendo 64 if there is a game cartridge in it. If that doesnt work, use a game like Pokemon Stadium that has an option to delete the memory out.

How do I get a memory card n64 to work if the game thinks it's not there?

If you mean for save games, sort of, the games saves are stored on the cartridge but the memory card allows you to transfer data between cartridges and also save ghost data (apparently). But if want to, you could pick up the N64 Expansion pack for it, adding 4mb extra RAM. (actually a lot to the 64.) You have to get the expansion pack if you want to play games like Majora's Mask. Ocarina of Time is better though.

Is a game pack and a memory card the same thing for Nintendo 64?

Not quite. A game pack could refer to either the Cartridge placed into the Nintendo 64 directly and is used to store the game's data, or the attachment that is placed on the back of the N64 controller. A memory card is the unit that saves the altered data for the game. There are two types of memory cards for the Nintendo 64 games, the built-in memory storage that is included in many of the N64 game Cartridges, and the memory pack, this is an attachment for the controller itself, and is used for any games that require a save feature for your profile, but do not have one installed in the Cartridge (an example game would be Gex 64, it requires that you save, but cannot save the game in the cartridge).

How do you delete data from a Nintendo 64 memory card?

In order to erase previously saved data on a memory card for the Nintendo 64, you have to hold the start button while you turn on the N64 game system with the game cartridge in it. It should direct you to the Memory Card Manager. From there you can see all the game saves and data stored on the card. All you have to do now is select the games/data files you want to delete.

Do you need a Nintendo 64 memory card?

Some games that need more graphical memory such as Donkey Kong 64 or Majoras Mask need the Expansion Pack. A few games need to be saved to the N64 Controller Pack. Just search each game and you will know.

How to delete a file on resident evil 4 for GameCube?

Simply keep the PlayStation open. Then, go to Browser. Go to the Memory card you have Resident Evil 2 saved on. Then, go to the data that you don't want and erase it. For the Gamecube, just simply hold A on the controller. Then, go to the memory card cube. Go to the memory card where you have RE 2 saved. Choose the data that you have the game saved on and then erase it. I'm not sure how it works for the N64 or the Wii. But, I'm pretty sure there's a way to do it.

Do you have to have a memory card to download games on to a dsi?

No the Nintendo DS does not have a memory card. The game cartridges contain the saved file information on them. Therefore, you cannot play your file of a game on somebody else's game cartridge.
