How do you find Wisp in Animal Crossing City Folk?

On a Monday night, after 8 pm, search your whole town. You'll eventually find Wisp's location. You will know this because his voice should talk to you, but it will be unidentified until you find exactly where he is (he will lead you there by his voice). Find the lamp Wisp is looking for (if you've already found it, great!) and he'll tell you to go to your attic. When you get to your attic in your house, go to your inventory and click on the lamp. Choose "rub". Then, he'll come out of his lamp and you get a wish!

Wisp is Somewhat easy to find. The only way to find him is if you find the item EMPTY LAMP which somewhat looks like a genie lamp. But first you must find him while walking around at about 7:30-8:00 pm. You will hear someone talking to you, then Wisp will pop up. He wants you to find his lamp (Empty Lamp). He will ask you then to meet in you attic, where he will grant you 1 of the choices he has.

You'll find Wisp during the night sometimes. He will lose his lamp every time you see him.

On City Folk? In City Folk, you have to walk around during the day. You may find a lamp on the ground. If you find it, pick it up, and Wisp will be there THAT NIGHT (Between 8PM and 12AM). He is invisible, so you just have to run around the town. If you run into him, a speech bubble will come up, saying, "Excuse Me...".

There is a 0.2% chance each day that you will find Wisp, but anyway, going about your everyday tasks if you happen to stumble across a lamp, keep it and do not sell it.

Then at around 12 am (Not positive if this time is accurate, but it's when I found him, so...), wander around the beach shoreline (Wisp is always near water.)

If by this point you haven't found the lamp, he will ask you to find it. It shouldn't be too hard to find.

Once you've found it, meet him again and give it to him. He will complain about ghosts and go inside the lamp. Go up into your attic and rub the lamp.

He will appear again, and thank you, asking you if you would like a reward.

From there on, the reward is pretty much your choice

Actually I haven't got him yet either but I heard you get him at any time durring night though once you find his lamp he will give you 1 magic wish sooo just keep an eye out

Wisp comes on Animal Crossing almost every night, he goes there around 10-11 'o clockish. He will then direct you to him and ask about his lamp.
