The game God of War is a Trilogy based on Greek Mythology. In this game you take on the role of Kratos,a Mortal who has served the Gods for ten years and is betrayed by them eventually in God of War 2. Kratos was a Mortal until Athena - The God of Wisdom requires one last task of kratos, to kill Ares - The God of War. When Kratos sets off on his journey, he ends up in the ancient city of Athens, Greece. Seeing Ares destroy the city, Kratos sets out to find the Oracle of Athens, for she claims to know how to kill a god. When Kratos saves the Oracle from a tragic near-death experience, she looks inside his head to look in Kratos' history, claiming he was a brutal monster deep inside. The oracle tells Kratos of one thing that can grant Kratos the power to kill a god - Pandora's Box. But the oracle warns Kratos, many warriors have gone in search of the box, none have returned. When Kratos makes his way through Athens to the edge of the city, he comes across The Desert of Lost Souls. He seeks guidance from Athena once again, and she tells Kratos that in order to pass the desert, you must kill all three of it's Sirens. Once he reaches the end of the desert's challenges, he contacts Kronos the Titan. For he holds the Temple of Pandora chained to his back. After climbing his back for three days, Kratos reaches the beginning of the temple. After completing ALL of the temples challenges and reaches the doors of Pandora's Temple, along with Pandora's Box, Ares uses his amazing Quarterback throwing skills, and Kills Kratos with, well, a really sharp rock. His life flashes before his eyes as the life drains out of him, watching the Harpies from under Ares control carry the box away. Kratos then appears in Hades. After making his way down the Path of Hades, Kratos is saved by some Grave Digger hobo guy. He makes his way down to Ares, and uses his magic skillz to retrieve Pandora's Box and open it. Then Kratos kills Ares, and Athena bestows the ultimate gift upon Kratos, the gift of power, the power, of the God of War.

There is a clip that begins the game, then you are on Gaia, the goddess of earth. You kill all the bad guys and the next part will come. If that does not work, try pressing L1 and triangle. You will have to lift a log. Go up to it and press R!. Press 0 and then kill all the other bad guys. When it says traverse along the ledge, they mean that small piece of land to your right. Then eventually, you will fight a few horses. Then in a little while you will fight Poseidon. Hint: Try using your magic to defeat the horses and Poseidon.
