∙ 13y agoBella Swan was turned into a vampire while she was having Reneesmee by Edward because otherwise the half-vampire baby would have killed her and ripped her womb open. By turning her into a vampire, the baby could come out and she would still be alive as a vampire.

∙ 13y agoAlice Cullen became a vampire around 1901. Alice was changed by an old vampire who worked at the asylum, which she had to go because of her premonitions. Alice was changed by the old vampire in order to protect her from James, a tracker vampire who was trying to hunt her. James also tracked Bella in Twilight, in a more present relative date to us humans. Alice remembered nothing of her past before she was turned into a vampire; she just woke up and found herself as a vampire. Although, she did not know that she was any different then before, other then not remembering anything. Alice soon saw visions of her, Jasper, and the Cullens. Alice then waited for Jasper and when she found him she told him all about the Cullens. So, Jasper and Alice went off to try and find the Cullens because Alice knew that one day they would be part of the Cullen family.
