If you have a huge tank than yes but if you have a 1/2 galon bowl I would say no. No, it is not necessary, but it is a nice thing to have. Live aquarium plants will reduce the amount of nitrates in the water, leaving it cleaner and making your betta happier. Also, the bettas like to rest on the leaves and play in the plant. Even bettas in a small bowl will appreciate the luxury of a plant- they can hide behind it, and find shade if it is too light. Bettas will NOT eat a plant- they are carnivorous and subsist on betta bites, brine shrimp, bloodworms, etc. I suggest easy to grow plants such as java fern, java moss, elodea (aka anarchis) for the bowl. Java fern will survive in low light so that may be the best for you. However, I have elodea in my fishbowl and it's doing beautifully. It also depletes the water of nutrients so that algae will not grow. If you use a plastic plant, make sure it is not sharp so it cannot hurt the betta.
NO!!!!! They should not eat betta fish...but if your cat has then call a vet, and don't get anymore betta Fish!
It depends On its kind if turtle
Betta fish are carnivorous and primarily eat live or frozen foods such as bloodworms, brine shrimp, and daphnia. They can also be given high-quality betta pellets or flakes as a staple diet. It's important to provide a varied diet to ensure proper nutrition for betta fish.
Freshwater crabs can be aggressive and may attack betta fish, especially if they are small. It is not recommended to keep them together in the same bowl to prevent any harm to the betta fish. They have different care requirements and tank setups.
Oh, dude, crayfish will totally chow down on Betta fish food if given the chance. They're not picky eaters, so they'll pretty much eat anything that fits in their claws. Just keep an eye on your Betta fish if you're sharing their food with a crayfish - they might end up with some unexpected dinner guests!
Betta fish do not eat fish.
Bettas shouldn't be fed plants, they are carnivorous fish and need lots of protein.
Yes, betta fish can eat snails as part of their diet. Snails can provide a good source of protein for betta fish.

When your Betta fish is fasting it means it is not eating, this usually happens after the Betta has bred and it will not eat until all the Betta eggs are hatched.
