If it is a very small, baby turtle, they may try to capture it and eat it. But I don't think they have enough bite force to break through a baby turtle's shell, so once the turtle retreats inside, there's not much they can do.
Once the turtle grows to an adult size, I seriously doubt the cats will try to mess with it. They definitely cannot bite through an adult turtle's shell. And adult turtles can -- and will not hesitate to -- bite, and they can bite down very hard. If the cat is bitten even once, it most likely will never go near the turtle again.
When I first got my baby turtle, my cats definitely showed an interest in her. Enough of an interest that I was a little bit afraid for the turtle's safety. But once she got a little bigger, they lost interest. Now she is a fully-grown adult turtle, and they pay absolutely no attention to her, unless I take her out of the tank and let her crawl around on the floor. Then they will cautiously approach the turtle, but in more of an investigatory way, not a predatory way. They don't try to attack her.
Chickens and ducks will investigate anything that crawls. Chances are if the snake is small enough and not poisonous it will be attacked and devoured by the birds. Most snakes are on the menu for chickens.
Snakes, cats, racoons
It depends how big the snakes are.Actually, Cats in the house may or may not keep away snakes. It depends whether your cats are afraid of them or not. Sometimes, if cats are allowed outside, they attack snakes and bite them. Then, they may carry them to your door as a gift. But, the question is pretty obvious, because how could the cat know where the snake is, if its inside? Anyways, a snake wouldn't be able to see the cat from outside.
Male cats are often more likely to get along with female cats, as long as they are spayed/neutered. Unneutered males may display territorial behavior and may not get along with female cats. It ultimately depends on the individual cat's personality and socialization.
