Best Answer

Places abundant in grass and water tend to be best suited to inhabitance by horses. They usually like grassy plains and lower altitude mountains.

Domesticated horses often inhabit stables on closed plots of land, where they are used as work-horses, or, more commonly, for riding.

A horse's habitat needs to have grass to forage on and if it doesnt go in for rain, snow, etc. you need a shelter in the pasture. Also, you need at least an acre per horse for they love to run and explore. Make sure there is plenty of grass in the pasture/paddock but not too much or your horse may colic.
