You move in relation to something, for instance, if you take the planet Earth as a reference, then we're not moving, even if you walk around. However, we're moving in relation to the sun because we're on a planet that is.

If you drive a car, you're not moving in relation to the seat you're sitting on, but you are moving in relation to sign posts that you leave behind.

Yes. On Earth, the reference point is easy to define: it is either the ground, sky, or things. In space, it's not so easy, but we often use the Sun as a reference. Beyond the Sun, perhaps the motion of our solar system could be measured using the Milky Way galaxy as a reference.

A reference point is used to determine motion by calculating the distance between the object that is being observed for motion and the reference point. A moving object is not normally considered a good reference point.

A reference point is what you look at to determine if you or another object is moving. If you're in a car, for example, you use trees or rocks outside as reference points to see if you are moving.

Motion is always relative, depending on the reference point. If a tree is the reference point, then the car zooming past will be moving. But, if you use the car as the reference point, then it seems as though the tree is zooming past.

A frame of reference (FOR) is the base from which the measurement of two different objects, or of the same object at two different time, is made. A "stationary" object relative to one FOR (parked car) will appear to move from another FOR (moving car) because the two FORs are themselves moving in different directions relative to each other. By using a common FOR for several measurements, those measurements can be easily and directly compared. With multiple FORs or no FORs, they cannot.
