∙ 14y agoSmart is such a relative word. All living organisms, animals and plants , have this strong desire and instinct to live and to procreate its kind. Among the many animal species known to man, from the ultramicroscopic forms to the largest mammals are all governed by this desire to live and procreate.
In my opinion, they are all "smart".An excellent example that occured lately was the SARS virus. Where it is known that this virus was only passed from civet to civet , it jumped the civet barrier to infect humans . Within a very short time of days the virus had spread worldwide. ∙ 14y agoThe monkeys are considered the most clever animals as it has a 'special' type of brain that helps it imitate what the person is doing like in the circus. Monkeys are good at imitating somebody and at cycling on one wheel etc.
