I think that what you mean to ask is, are the particles in a solid packed close together, which they are, particularly in comparison to a gas, in which the particles are rather distant from each other. However, you can pack solid particles in various ways, closely or distantly. The solidity of the particle does not dictate the type of packing.
When something has closely packed particles, it is a solid. A solid is also known as a state of matter with a definite volume and shape.
well the particles in an atom that is in a solid are paked tightly
solid particles are packed closely and tightly, liquid particles are loose, and gas particles are very loose
Solids have closely packed particles.

Solids
For most substances particles are most packed in the solid state?
its not a substance its a state of matter which is the solid the solid's particles are packed tightly together glad 2 help !! :)
Atoms are in a solid but as in particles it depends on the object.
They are tightly packed and vibrate.
Anything that has particles that are closely packed together. Examples: * A cup * A bowl * A lightbulb * A faucet * A microwave * A shirt
particles in a solid are packed so close together they can only
vibrate
As compared to liquids or gasses, yes they are.
A solid has tightly packed particles.
For most substances particles are most packed in the solid state?
Closely packed ,tightly packed
yo mutha
The particles in a liquid are close together. In a solid the particles are tightly packed together so you cannot compress them at all. The particles in a gas are far apart, so when they are compressed the volume of the gas reduces. The bonds in a liquid are not as close as those in a solid but they are still too close for compression.

liquid particles do not join the solid particles because the particles of solid are very tightly packed but this is not in the case of liquid
They are tightly packed and vibrate.
