I think you mean "pennies"

It depends on their dates and mint marks. Most cents from the mid to late 1940s onward aren't worth much unless they're in nearly-new to uncirculated condition. Cents with older dates may or may not be worth extra but it's different for each coin.

There are tables of values at a site like Numismedia.com, for example.

Old pennies can be worth money depending on their condition, rarity, and year of production. Some key dates and mint marks can significantly increase the value of a penny. It's best to have a reputable coin dealer or appraiser evaluate your old pennies to determine their potential worth.

Assuming you're referring to US cents, with a few exceptions they were made of copper or bronze from 1793 to 1982 so it's impossible to give a specific answer.

Later-date bronze cents (roughly 1940 onward) are generally worth 3 to 20 cents in average condition but again there are exceptions.

Earlier cents can be worth anything from those amounts to hundreds of thousands of dollars. You have to know dates and mint marks to value them more accurately.

If you have specific dates please look for questions in the form "What is the value of a #### US cent?", where #### is the coin's date. WikiAnswers has values for nearly every year of US cent coinage.

It depends on what year it was minted, what mint it came from, and what condition the old penny is in.
