try to rest it for as much time as you can. Its normal to go walking. If its a long walk, take 5 min rests in between. when you get home put cold ice on it. then later put hot gel. The Best thing is to buy a kneepad. they will help ALOT. Even after your knee stops hurting, wear it for a while. But also go see a Doctor. My grandpa is a doctor .Also exercise it every night. move it lightly to the side and straight. Get better!

I would say to eat healthy foods, avoid salty and foods, and to drink lots of water! I have been drinking about 3 liters of water (100 oz) a day and my knee pain has gotten way better if not disappeared. Drink lots of water to make sure you have enough joint fluid in your knees, and overall, makes you feel better!

It is also important to keep the knee moving, even by gentle exercise, to keep the joint free.
