No. That would be considered child endangerment. An eight year old is not mature enough to be responsible for a younger child. The eight year old needs an adult caretaker herself.

Yes, it is legal for a 13 year old to babysit a 8 year old in Kentucky. The 13 year old should always know emergency numbers and have a phone in case of trouble.
I don't think so.
can i babysit your kids if i am 12 year old because i have my license to babysit from the red cross so can i babysit your kids? breanna, any info write me on myspace my email is cuteangel55@yahoo.com thank you.
Depends on how old you are, your maturity, and your responsibility...
Definitely not they are way too young
yea of course since it's ur bro
Well, yes. They are five years apart and just so long as the 13-year-old is responsible, there's no reason they can't babysit an 8-year-old. It does depend on the parents, the kid, and the babysitter though. Each case is different. There is no way that makes sense!
Yes! i am 12 and I have a 5 year old brother and an 8 yr old sis .... SUCCESSFUL!
i don't think so because you have to be 12 and older babysit but is the 11 yr old responsible? i f you have good kids it shouldn't be a problem.
I think you can . If you are 13 you are old enough that you can do that i am so ya . love Samantha <3 :)
13+ to babysit in md 12 in most other states but you can be home alone for brief periods of time between 8 and 12, if the child left at home is under 8 you need a 13+ year old to be present. hope it helped :)
That totally depends upon the child. The best babysitter I ever used was eleven years old. She was certified in infant and child first aid. Also she was certified in CPR for infants and toddlers. Beyond that she was patient and loving.
