The probably can't make you go, just like they can't make you eat. But they know that just as food is necessary to life a good education is very important to the kind of life you will have. High school dropouts will earn far less money than those who graduate. The more education you have the better life you will enjoy; more money, better house better car, more toys, happier and healthier lifestyle and on and on. Try to stick it out. A little more struggle and hard work now will make for a much easier life in the long run!

You better like school because it is like 'work' later in your life.
That is why parents have a say, they are only trying to help.
