The only vitamin that is proven toxic in relativly small quantities is vitamin D (of course we need it in very tiny quantities). According to the material safety data sheet it does not seem to be toxic to invertabates (worms and insects). It did not show toxicity at the highest tested dose. All the vitamins should be quickly consumed by bacteria in the compost. I would just to be safe spread them around well and put them in the middle just so curious pets cannot get to them.
what happens if I consume expired multi-vitamins
Odds are, you won't get sick, the vitamins will just not work as well.
no Yes, we can. Expired vitamins are unlikely to hurt anyone, but they may not help either because vitamins lose their potency after a certain amount of time on the shelf. It is best to throw them away and buy ones that are in date.
You should not take any medications or dietary supplements that have expired.

Pretty much everything organic can be composted, but special care should be taken with scraps of meat and suchlike.

Yes, any NPK fertilizer will have potassium in it. You can also give your plant expired vitamins. Check with your local pharmacy to see if they have any.
It is unlikely that it will cause you harm. But the best advice is to throw out any expired pills. Even if they are just vitamins.
Expired food doesn't contain so much necessary vitamins and minerals baby bird needs to grow properly. It doesn't kill the bird, but may cause some problems with chicks development.
