A tank is just a box made out of glass. You could put either salt water or fresh water into this box with the appropriate filter media.
No, fresh water fish cannot survive in salt water, but it doesn't matter what kind of tank (box) they are put in.
note: most fresh water fish like a little bit of salt in their water. It improves their gill function and gives them needed electrolytes. However, this is only a small amount (1 tablespoon per 5 us gallons), so don't overdo it.
probably not.
A saltwater fish tank can be half freshwater and all of the saltwater fish will live but not for very long.
No, clown fish are marine fish and tetra and guppies are freshwater fish.
Paramecium live in freshwater and are also found in aquariums.
Yes snails can live in a fish tank, and they can breed.
no because if its a freshwater tank the rain has salt in it
No, A Seahorse can only live in saltwater and a glofish can only live in freshwater. Seahorses do not do well with other fish anyways.
No. Glo fish are freshwater organisms and lobsters are saltwater organisms. And if they could live in the same water, one eats the other.
No. Bettas are freshwater fish. Seahorses are saltwater.
no!! they can hurt ur fish!
That depends completely and entirely on the tank. In a freshwater tank with anything besides lightly stocked algae eaters, I wouldn't go any longer than a couple of days without feeding. Of course, they could survive maybe a few weeks without food, but that would be cruelty.
