NO! The second you separate the ring from the hole, a thick mucus will virtually seal the hole and it will be basically impossible to put it back. I had difficulty with this problem after a month of having mine, but i was able to get it through, painfully, only because I had waited a month to take it out. wait a couple of months to change it!

But the lady did it in a matter of less than 2 mins and I barely felt anything. I'm have a small stomached ad I hear it varies in body types and how big the needle being used is.
