Can sex be a form of art?

It would depend on the nature of the act. If the sexual act is one of a single person relieving tension and/or stress, then this would not be a form of art. Unless, of course, the act was performed in a very unusual way. There are many forms of masturbation in either sex, and is more of a personal tribute rather than a public display. Sexual activity between two adults however, can be translated as art if the consenting adults agree to perform in the presence of other adults, using only traditional positions of sex and not acting in a perverse or degrading manner. Contact between the two persons concerning only the penis and vagina, and no other parts of either persons body should be intended for any sexual activity with the one exception of the females breasts. Whilst the female breast is naturally intended as a feeding mediem between mother and child, it is a highly sensitive part of the female anatomy and therefore an integral part of the act of having sex. Whilst the male is performing his penetrative acts, much use of the breasts can be made to heighten the female pleasure such as fondling and sucking of the nipples. Also the female anus is sometimes a vessel for the heightening of the female pleasure as the male testicles slap against it during the thrusting movements, again adding more pleasure to the female. If this is done tastefully, either privately or with an audience, can be classed as art. Anything outside of the above description would probably be classed as Pornography.
