Depending on what you mean by "Believe in God".
Answer:
Not if you are a Christian. They go hand in hand.
Allah is simply the arabic word for God. Meaning, when someone who is Muslim says Allah, they mean the same God any Christian would speak of. The difference is that in Islam, they believe that God told Muhammad, their savior, how people are supposed to live life. As far as I know, they believe in The Bible, but to a certain extent. They do not believe that Jesus is the saviour nor the son of God. Judaism is similar in this respect but they believe that the saviour is yet to arrive on Earth.
because we have so many unanswered questions relating to ourselves why do we worry about god...when we have not even understood ourselves yet people find it hard to even believe themselves sometimes once we fully believe in ourself then we will know how to fully believe in others god is just waiting for us to believe it
Someone can believe that God exists, but just decides not to praise Him or worship Him. If that someone believed He was real, it doesn't mean they love Him. They just believe that God exists, but does not go all out in researching about God and the Christian faith, so the someone does not see what an all-powerful figure God is and that someone does not realize that He is the only reason for our very existence.
I believe in evolution because we find so many fossils from the past and still no miracle from God has yet happened. I believe in creation because there is way more proof!!
The God-appointed time for the second coming has not yet arrived, but many believe there are signs that it is not far away.
Many Buddhists are atheists yet also believe in reincarnation, so yes some atheists believe that people live again after death.
because the baby does not yet know about God and has no idea what is happening.
The purpose of religouse life is not found yet but i believe it helps make you feel safer and give you something to believe in...
They claim to believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, yet they partner The Holy One with an entity they call "His" son, namely Jesus. So, in a sense, belief in Jesus does seem to bring Christains to believe in the one true God, the same God that members of the Islamic faith believe in, and this is same God is the God of the Jews.
The reason many people do not believe in God is because they haven't seen enough evidence of God's existence. I, as a Christian, went through a time when I doubted God's existence. Yet He had the grace to show me that He is real! Anyways, another reason a person may not believe in God could be because he/she has never felt His presence. It'd be pretty hard to believe in someone whom you've never felt. People may not believe in God because he cannot be proved through the scientific method.
A religious experience helps Christians to believe in God by affirming the fact that God does exist. For example - if you pray to God and your prayers are answered, you are apt to believe in God more. If you witness what appears to be a miracle, you are more likely to believe in God. If you narrowly escape death or an accident you may believe that God was looking out for you. Talking to other Christians about their religious experience(s) help to confirm the fact that God really does exist. Perhaps a visitation from a dead ancestor may strengthen your belief in an afterlife, thus helping you to believe in God. Many experiences may not be religious in nature, but yet may have overtones that lead you back to a belief in God.
Muslims believe in one God: Allah. He is the God of Abraham in the Old Testament account. Islam, like Christianity are Abrahamic religions that grew out of Judaism. All three religions believe in the same God, the original God of the Hebrew peoples. Jews generally believe the Messiah has not yet come and that Jesus, who was a practicing Jew, is not the Messiah but a learrn-ed teacher and Rabbi. Muslims believe Jesus to be a prophet, but also believe Muhammed was the last and greatest prophet. Christians of course, for the post part consider Jesus to be the Messiah. Allah is simply the Arabic word for God.
