Generally, the issue with gastritis is the acid and oils in the coffee, not the caffeine.
Some of the ways to reduce the acids is to stick with light roasts in a drip maker. Don't use commercial creamers. They are mostly made of oils. A little bit of baking soda will neutralize the acid. It's a small amount, so go easy.
