Body Piercing is a regulated industry and with that each township and city can have there own age limits on what services can be provided at specific ages. The best bet is to call your local body piercing studios and ask them what the age limits are for your area and what they require for ID and parental consent.
16.
16-18 years
16, but some places ask for ID.
16 but any self respecting 16 year would'nt think about getting their tunge pireced at that age
In 16 years I have never had any one's tongue tip change color, so this leads me to believe there are some serious issues going on with your tongue piercing. Best see your doctor as soon as possible.
Barbell PiercingWhen a tongue is pierced, they usually start off with 14g. The higher the number, the thinner the barbell and the lower the number ex: 10 gauge, the thicker the barbell. Best is to start off with the smallest. You will barely feel it in your tongue and slowly move your way down to a thicker gauge if you want._____________________i got mine done 2 weeks ago and started with a 14gauge. My piercier informed me that---14 is the start off for your tongue!_____________________You can have it pierced at any gauge you wish. In general if a specific gauge isn't requested you will end up with a 14 in your tongue. 16's are simply too small and will easily rip out. I personally don't think any piercings should be done with anything smaller than a 12g because they are all too thin. I have never had anything pierced smaller than a ten.i would only really get a 14 gage cause that's all they pretty much sell in stores....im getting mine and i will be 16 soon.........___________________________________________________________________Just so you know...the bigger the number, the smaller the barbell actually is. A 16 is actually going to be smaller than a 12, or the standard 14 that they use for piercing tongues.
No haven't run into that in over 16 plus years of body piercing, there are some that are too over weight to be done correctly but never "too big" to be pierced.
Okay, you're twelve years old. Getting a piercing right now maybe isn't the brightest idea for you. Just wait a couple of years and think about what you really want. (Trust me, you'll be glad you waited). I'm 13 well i got my eyebrow pierced and my ears twice well you have to be 16 or over if you are under 16 you have to have a parent with you so i always take my mom. and yes I'm getting my tongue pierced too with my mom. so yeah take your mom or dad.
16
it means you have tongue cancer
you have to be 16
I think you should point out to your mom that ear piercings are more traditional than belly button or tongue piercings and if you managed to keep those from being infected you than can do the same with the ear piercings.
