I suppose you could, but the military doesn't normally take diabetics, it's very hard to get in. Call a recruiting station and tell them you have type 1 Diabetes and see how quickly they hang up.

Sorry - Diabetes Mellitus of any type is an automatic medical entrance disqualifier for the Navy and other military services.
