You should never let any pets go in the wild. Firstly they may not know how to survive. Secondly they may not be native to your area messing up the entire ecological system in the lake if they do survive. Your best bet is the SPCA, they will ussually take any animal or if you call them first they might have an alternative for you.
I have 2 mud turtles in my backyard pond with a dozen goldfish and small koi. The turtles are too slow to catch the fish but sure wiped out the snail population...
Yes. As long as they have food, like leafy green plants.
yes groundhogs will eat small turtles, if you can feed the groundhog and he/she will not eat turtles because he/she will have plentiful to eat.
in his backyard he built a small garden
quail because sometimes large turtles eat smal quails. this rarely happens, but large turtles will eat small birds.
Because they r small like a papaya
The bugs are small because that's how they survive and adapted to their environment
A backyard that is too small, a chihuahua can't even run around.
land turtles are but, sea turtles eat small fish and bugs
big turtles from small? Some turtle just have different body sructures, they just come out the way the mother was, but big turtles can live way longer than small turtles can. actually, even small turtles can live 50+ years. Even one that only grows 4-5 incheshappy herp keeping :)
They need to survive because they control aphid population and some other small bugs.
All things are relative. Compared to an earthworm, turtles have big brains. Compared to a dog, turtles have small brains.
