Some of the things that can trigger SHC is:
When the victim has been heavily drinking
When the victims has been under heavy emotional stress
When the victim is own their own
Also:
Most of the victims are woman
A yellow, foul smelling oil is usually surrounding the body
The torso, including the chest, abdomen and hips tend to be totally consumed, sparing portions of the arms and legs and the head. The clothing can also be intact
The body is very badly burned, but the room the body was found in is pretty much intact except for a fine layer of soot
Most of the victims were overweight and/or alcoholics.

---Yes, it does. Even though it is very rare, it does occur. There's a list of known victims of SHC in wiki. Hope this helps. By darkmatter1123
It is easier than you might think. Keep acting as you normally would and you will never suffer from SHC. This is because it is a myth it is not physically possible for a human being to just catch fire. It is hard enough to set one of fire deliberately, think about the number of times you have a person put a match out with their fingers or seen a fire eater at the circus. If you go to a crematorium and ask how hot they have to make the furnace you'll be surprised. The ony reason people get burned is because they are in contact with something hot, they themselves will not burn but their clothes might. Think about it this way, your body is abour 80% water, how can that possibly spontaniously catch fire? If you're still worried about it, you could try living in a swimming pool.
ok like they said above, keep acting normal, it happens very rarely. But it is possible to shc. Its not you catching on fire, its the atoms in your body moving so rapidly that you catch on fire and die. sure your body is mosly water, but still even if only 20 percent of you catches on fire, youll still die.
No-one really knows. apparently the claimed victims were obese, drunk and/or smoked constantly. wich mans it might be real... I am guessing it is, as a scientist discovered its possible for a human body to burn like a candle, called the candle, or wick effect. any way, its so rarely claimed, its probably nothing to worry about. even if you are obese and a drunk smoker. if so, you have other things to worry about.
Urban myth, actually died while smoking, clothing ignites, body fat aids burning of body.
He got fired.
He helped people and also he developed nuclear energy which help people
He went to heaven. Heaven for people who died is for 10,000,000 years. Very long time indeed!
That depends on a lot of variables. Weight, how you land, what you land on, just to name a few. There have people known to have fallen hundreds of feet and yet servive. Then there are those less fortunate that have died falling out of a bed, chair, or have tripped or slipped over objects in the lawn of in the house.
No he was never caught some people think he died and others think he survived. There is no evidence that he survived or died. no one has ever found remains of him dead or alive.
no, they all/it died
Henry Thomas - suspected combustion death - died in 1980.
Dinosaurs would evolve, again. They would invent really big internal combustion engines, and use dead humans for fuel.
An ancient species of human who died out 27,000 years ago.
Many people died and nearly wiped out the whole civilization.
a lots of bones of people that have died lol
Yes. Many people have been struck by lightning. A good number of those people have died as a result.
2,890 million human beings and 4,548 million animals
Approximately 100,825,272,791 people have died in all of human history. This means that the dead to living ratio is about 1 to 29. While the world is immensely populated, we are still nowhere near equaling the number of people who have died.
Durring the Ice Age, the modern human population was a strict zero.
Without having babies the human race would have died out thousands of years ago.
If you count from passing on infections and diseases it must be many billions by now.
