Can you take a ClearBlue pregnancy test at 3 weeks and how accurate will it be?
If you start birth control and you have unprotected sex 3 times during the first week on it then you stop taking it and get a period early when is a pregnancy test going to be accurate?
First, you shouldn't stop taking the pill in the middle of the pack. Second, you are not pregnant if you are having your period. If you are still not sure if you are pregnant …or not, go see a doctor for a test. Or wait until you are due next month and take a test after you are late, if you are late. Same thing going on with me. If your "period" is withdrawal bleeding, I would doubt you had ovulated yet. You'll probably have to wait until the next regular period, which may be late just because of the bc. I would call your gyn nurse. For starters both of the above are wrong. You can have a period during pregnency so there is no real tell tale signs or symptoms just go to the doc if uspect that you may be pregnant that is the only good way to be sure First off, YOU are wrong. You CANNOT have a period during pregnancy, what you have during pregnancy is spotting. I'm in the medical field so I would know. A period is when you push out an old egg and replace it with a new one basically for those of you who don't know. If you have a period during pregnancy youd be pushing out a fertilized egg..that's not possible. But bleeding and spotting during pregnancy is normal. Hey person who posted before me. YOU are not wrong, but you did leave out some vital info. I am going through the same thing and have talked to several doctors and people at clinics about this. When you stop taking your pills, even if you are pregnant, you will begin to bleed. It will look like your period. This is called withdrawal bleeding. When you are birth control, the bleeding you have while on the sugar pills is NOT actually your period, it is just withdrawal bleeding. That is what stinks about birth control, you can have bleeding that looks like your period, and think you are not pregnant....but you can be. What I am going to do is just wiat until my next "period is due, probably about three weeks from having unprotected sex....then I am going to take a pregnancy test. (First morning urine!) Good Luck! and let me know what happens...I'm interested.
