Well, you cant trade but you can migrate. which baisically means if you have, say, Pokemon diamond (it can be pearl) when you beat the elite four you have to obtain the national dex and then you can put a gba Pokemon game, say, ruby, and then, on the beginning screen, it'll say "migrate from ruby" and if you go on that, you can choose 6 Pokemon from ruby and to the east of sandgem town there will be some water. go across that and you'll end up at pal-park were you can catch the Pokemon you migrated, in the wild, (like a safari park)
NOTE:::: all gba games can work with the migrate system
Hope i helped

yes you can you put the game boy game in the gba slot on the bottom of the ds the little slit or compartment on the bottom of the ds and put in the game that the Pokemon you want to trade is like uh magikarp to Pokemon diamond and the turn on your ds and play Pokemon diamond on the main menu screen when you would say continue or new game towards the bottom there is transfer Pokemon to do this you will have to complete the game by completing your sinnoh pokedex and beating the elite 4 *hope this helps (ima huge Poke-fan )
Heres the scoop you can trade GBA Pokemon to a DS but you can't trade from DS to GBA, the deal is you have to beat diamond, pearl or platinum and get the national dex then save in a Pokemon center then on the title screen press start and notice your choices one says Migrate to lets say Ruby now rember your ruby game must be one in the DS and two saved at a Pokemon center and three make sure the Pokemon you want to migrate are in your PC not your PARTY. Once you save in ruby and put it in the DS turn on the DS choose your diamond/pearl/platinum game choose migrate to ruby and follow the instructions then once you choose the Pokemon choose yes to migrate then find the pal park in your diamond/pearl/platinum game then go in and catch the migrated Pokemon.
the answer is no you can not use the conecter in the ds lite to conect and you can not plug in a cord
no only with the ds lite
no
get all the Pokemon on diamondcatch them or trade off another Pokemon game
yes
You cant you have to migrate to the original ds lite and then trade. But think you can if gamboy game is in the ds. NOTE this only workes if you trade to another ds with a gamboy slot
With ds you can wirelessly trade or wifi trade. with gb gbc and gba you have to trade with a cable. To igrate a gba pokemon to a ds game you need to have the gba in the gba slot of a ds lite and the ds game in the ds slot of the ds
You do not have to trade, all you need is a DS lite and before starting the game (right after lugia picture go down) and you will see the GBA game and then follow the steps from there.
You can maybe trade a ds lite at game stop, but you still have to pay 75 dollars
Totodile can't be seen on Pokemon Platinum unless you trade it over from a game where you can get totodile. You can do that in the Pal Park but this can only be done on the D.S and D.S lite.
you can trade your ds lite in at game and usually get £75 so you only have to pay half the price for your DSI
You can trade between two DS but only with DS games, otherwise you'll have to migrate them but then you cant put them back on a GBA game anymore.
You can trade Pokémon between your original DS, your DS Lite and your DSi but only if they're Diamond, Pearl or Platinum Game Cards. You cannot trade between Gameboy Advanced games using a DS because there's no link port for it.
game boy and DS lite
If you mean using the DS wireless feature instead of the Sapphire link cable feature, then no. Pokemon sapphire does not have wireless communication enabled.
