Yes
The iPod Nano (6th generation) does not play video.
Well it all depends on what ipod you have/get. All 3rd generation ipods excluding ipod shuffle will be able to store videos on them and be able to watch them. On the 2nd and 1st generation you cannot watch them but you are still not able to store them on the ipod either.
Depending on what generation the iPod is, it can do different things. The fourth generation can do the following: 1. Listen to Music 2. Watch Movies that you can buy off of iTunes 3. Watch TV Shows 4. Watch movies that you rent off iTunes 5. Watch music videos 6. Look at Photos that you can put on your iPod 7. Watch Podcasts which you can buy off iTunes 8. Play Games 9. And more... On the fifth generation nano you can do all of the above and you can capture video on your iPod.

You can get an iPod data recovery software (check below) to get things done! Note: before you do this, stop importing more music or videos to the device!
The iPod second generation does not play music videos. And though, after fiddling around with mine, I found a category of "Music Videos" after clicking on the "Playlist" button. Hmm, I wonder what it means...anyways, everything and everyone tells me that it doesn't play music videos. If you want to play music videos, you must purchase any of these iPods: iPod Nano 3rd or 4th generation, iPod Video, or the iTouch. Go to www.apple.com to make an iPod purchase. You can also get engraving on the back of the iPod your purchasing with whatever you would like it to say, for FREE! But ONLY at the apple website. You can also get iPods and iTouches at the Apple store itself, or at most electronic stores including, Wal-Mart, Target, K-Mart, Circuit City, Best Buy, and possibly at Big Lots.
No, you can't. It doesn't support video. I learned this the hard way after buying a music video. It shows up on your iTunes, but it never transfers to the iPod. Funnily enough, there is a automatic playlist on the iPod titled " Music Videos". Don't be fooled by it.
