Yes, they can eat oatmeal, but a 3 week old bunny should still be with it's mother drinking her milk. The baby bunny will eat what the mother is eating also, this is far safer for the baby than giving it anything extra as his GI system will already be getting used to the mothers food.

Bunnies should not be away from their mother until at least 8 weeks of age!!

What eats degus?

Hay is the most important, but they need pellets that have vitamin c, that have no sugar or molasses, and that has no salt. You can give them dry uncooked oatmeal every other day and a dry uncooked whole wheat noodle once a week. Do NOT GIVE THEM ANYTHING that HAS SUGAR IN IT! They might get diabetes if you do. The oatmeal and noodle are optional.

Do mice eat oats?

They LOVE uncooked oatmeal! My mice gobble it up. Cooked oatmeal is too sticky and by the time it cools it won't be as fresh. Uncooked is best but be sure not to give them too much, as it is not a well-balanced diet for them to eat everyday. Try it as a treat-meal. That's what I'd do. (; hope this helped!
