He is a very good funk bassist vocalist; and, he is the original bass player of ConFunkShun. I saw ConFunkShun play as Project Soul before their fame as ConFunkShun; they were hot as a local band from Vallejo, CA. I followed the band around the San Francisco Bay area in the early 1970's as a 17 year old in the U.S. Navy.
