Yes , engine coolant can get in an engine cylinder from a bad head gasket , a
warped or cracked cylinder head , a bad intake manifold gasket etc.
( P.S. I'm not a mechanic / technician )
a leak in a head gasket could cause coolant to go into only one cylinder.
It is possible that the gasket could leak between cylinders. The overheating and coolant loss would happen if the gasket was failing around the coolant passages.
could be cylinder head gasket gone
It could, if enough coolant leaks into the cylinder to hydraulicaly lock it.
if there is oil in the coolant system it could be a crack in the intake, a ruined intake gasket, a cracked cylinder head
Various possibilities including thermostat, low coolant, weak coolant, cylinder head gasket, cylinder head. could aso be your electric fan not working leaking heater core!
Is it possible the head gasket(s) are gone and a cylinder has filled with coolant causing "hydraulic lock-up"?
Could have water (coolant) on it, or oil. If you are worried about a blown head gasket, be less concerned about spark plugs and check to see if coolant is in your crankcase, (motor oil) or vice versa.....oil in your radiator. It is possible for an engine to become hydrolocked, or seized, from coolant in a cylinder with both valves closed. But even if the engine is not seized pull spark plugs to see if there is coolant in cylinder. If there is, bad news. Do a compression check also............David
it's possible. check the engine oil for contamination.
Sounds like you are getting coolant into a cylinder , is your coolant level dropping ? Could be a bad head gasket , warped or cracked head
Your engine is mixing oil with the coolant. It could be a burned cylinder head gasket or a crack in the "cylinder head". It you continue to use the car, you will have coolant in the oil.
Answer White smoke is usually from burning coolant in the combustion chamber of a cylinder. I would suspect a cylinder head gasket failure. Usually also will have oil and coolant mixed in the oil pan and possibly the radiator.
