Describe San Jose of Tacloban city?

San Jose is a district on the outskirts of Tacloban city. It's a very small town on it's own, with markets,church,school and restaurant, but mostly it is a huge residential area. These is where most fishermen live, this town is stretched along the coast. Here you can find many mini resorts with cottages made of bamboo and coconut leaves and there are no entrance fees just pay rent for cottage. Taclobanons come to these resorts for weekends to unwind or just dip in the water and go no cottage rental. The beach has black sand, so it looks dirty from afar, but once you pluck up the courage and go in the water, you'll be surprised that it's clean, if you have lighter skin you can see your feet when you look down, if you cup water in your hands it's crystal clear. Although people are more likely to favor white sand beaches. There are white sand beaches about an hour and a half away from Tacloban.

San Jose is also the fishing cove, all fishermen dock in san Jose, if you want fresh fish,crab or shrimp just go the fishermans village and wait for the small boats to come and you can buy your seafood directly from them, fresher and cheaper. Although i prefer to pay the same price as it is in supermarkets, this way the actual fisherman benefits and profits...not the owners of commercial stores. These fishermen will be eating for dinner the smallest fish they got, the ones that nobody wants to buy. That's sad.

The airport is in San Jose, when you're on the beach and theres a plane coming, you will be seeing the belly of those giant birds close up!
