No. God took him.
Another answer:
YES:
"...by FAITH Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice... By FAITH Enoch was translated that he should not see death: and was not found...By FAITH Noah... By FAITH Abraham... sojourned in the land of promise... dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise... Through FAITH also Sara herself received strength... THESE ALL DIED IN FAITH, not having received the promises..." (Heb.11:4-13).
All of the above "faithful of God" DIED the "first death" that's appointed to all men [Heb.9:27].
The death that Enoch "should not see" is the SECOND one [should not is the FUTUREtense].
Jesus prophesys of it and calls it the "second death" -- not the first [appointed] one. It's the same death that NONE OF GOD'S SAINTS SHALL BE 'HURT BY.'
"...he that overcometh shall not be hurt of the SECOND DEATH." (Rev.2:11)
"...This is the First Resurrection. Blessed and Holy is he that hath part in the First Resurrection: on such the SECOND DEATH hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years." (Rev.20:5-6)
All of the above "faithful of God" [including Enoch]... are presently DEAD... and the scripture plainly says. But they shall be raised at Christ's coming in the First Resurrection, unto "immortality."
Those resurrected a thousand years later will face Judgment Day... and the Second Death:
"...This is the Second Death. And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire." (Rev.20:14-15)
God "translated" Enoch. That is... He took his "dead body" [carried it away]and buried him in an undisclosed location [like He did with Moses].
"So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the Word of the Lord. And He buried himin a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day." (Deut.34:5-6)
Everyone dies, according to the scriptures. And the teachings of men that Enoch didn't die is the result of their unbelief in what the scriptures say:
Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Sara [and all the prophets - Heb.11:32 - which includes Elijah] -- ALL DIED IN FAITH -- not having received the promises of God.
The Bible says so.
No, the Genesis Enoch was taken out of his native land by God to another place of safety. It is presumed that he eventually died like all mankind does.
Enoch, in the Bible, did not die, he was taken to heaven by God. In Genesis 5:24 it say that Enoch walked with God.
