Did Jesus know when he was young when he would die and how do we know that what we say are years arent diffent from what he says is a year?

We are told in scripture that at age 12 Jesus knew what His purpose was:
"...Wist ye not that I must be about My Father's business?" (Luke 2:49)
The main problem He had to deal with as to the timing of His death, was that Satan tried whenever possible to cause His death before the proper time came.
"...all they in the synagogue... were filled with wrath, and rose up, and thrust Him out of the city, and led Him to the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast Him down headlong. But He passing through the midst of them went His way." (Luke 4:28-30)
"...they took up stones to cast at Him: but Jesus hid Himself, and went out of the Temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by." (John 8:59)
