Lucas & Ford re Amer Grafitti . I believe that George Lucus suggested that Ford play Hans Solo after working with him on "American Graffiti.". ANSWER: . Harrison Ford was a counselor on the set of Star Wars. Since George Lucas wanted no experienced actors for the parts, Harrison was not allowed… to audition for the part. After months of finding no one suitable to play the role, he was asked to audition and got the part. "Right place at the right time." (MORE)

Chewbacca was attempting to free Wookies being sold as slaves to an Imperial commander. When the Imperial found that Chewbacca successfully freed the slaves, he sent Imperial TIE Fighters lead by Lieutenant Han Solo to attack Chebacca's ship. Chewie was knocked unconcious in the process, but when So…lo was ordered to kill him, he refused, arguing that the Wookie would be a useful slave. Literally for no reason. When they take him back to their holding chamber he says (sarcastically) "...They didn't even ask me any questions." They are torturing Han Solo so that Luke will feel his friend's pain through the Force and come to Bespin so he can be captured by Darth Vader, frozen in ca…rbonite and delivered to the emperor. The emperor's arranging this because of the prophecy that a Skywalker will defeat/dethrone him. As far as the emperor knows, Luke is the only remaining Skywalker besides Vader. (MORE)

NO!!! Han is one of the good guys! Well, at first he was very greedy & selfish, & only cared about money. But he did become good.
Yes and no. He was a crook for Jabba the Hut but became a good guy after he helped Luke destroy the first death star.

Uh... no. But in the film "The Empire Strikes Back" he was frozen in carbonite and it was another full year before he was released (which happened in "Return of the Jedi.") The Ohio Music Education Association and other statewide competitions rate music based on difficulty. Look in your state for events such as the OMEA Solo & Ensemble Event to find Class A pieces, which are considered to be college level solos. Try looking on the list for anything you might have playe…d before for a competition. Going by OMEA standards, Class A would be suitable, but anything below may be somewhat questionable. I know a friend who played a very difficult Class B solo, so I will ask her for the title and update this answer. I've played Fantasie by Faure, Movement 1 (Allegretto malincolo) to Francis Poulenc's Sonate pour Flûte et Piano , and Movements 1 and 3 the Telemann Suite in A Minor . These are all considered "college-level" and are fairly difficult for players just coming out of high school, but of all the pieces I would have to say that the Telemann Suite is the easiest to play without a piano player. You can find a large majority of these solos for around $5-8 at any music store. The most popular of the pieces I mentioned is the Poulenc solo, so that will probably be the easiest to locate a copy of. (MORE)
Depends on what side you're on. If you like the dark side, then yes. If you like the good side, then no.
"Don't get cocky, kid!" "Oh, yeah? Well, up yours!" "It was a boring conversation anyway." "She's fine if you don't look at her face." "I don't know; fly casual." "What, you want to suck it again?" "My ship's not just any piece of crap; it's my piece of crap" "Talk to the end of my blaster." "Yes,… I've been laid...laid back many times." "Yeah, you look fat with that mask on. Oh, wait; that's your face!" "No, no , no! This one goes there, and that one goes here!" "I don't like the smell anymore than you, kid." "What do you think: a guy like me and the princess-" "I've got a bad feeling about this..." "It's all fun and games until someone dies; (shot) oh, fun and games over!" "Pull down that skirt or else get the hell out of here!" "I've been laid by worse..." (MORE)

Jabba realized that the shipment of spice did not come in, so he assumed Solo …was trying to sell it to another bidder or something like that. Then, he put out the bounty on Solo. (MORE)
Steve Perry did several live interviews in 2010, the latest I heard was in November, in which he stated he was currently recording some of his new material. I wouldn't be so quick to write him off because of age or hip replacement as his last release was in 2008. That's only three years ago and from… the footage I have seen of him at the Giants games he looked very much alive and well! Great musician, Beautiful man! (MORE)
Han Solo was smuggling weapons that he had to jettison into space to avoid getting caught. But they belonged to Jabba the Hutt who put a bounty on his head.
Since "Return of the Jedi" takes place one year after "The EmpireStrikes Back," poor Han was frozen for a year.
He is forced to by Darth Vader when the sith lord takes over Bespin City.
Solo's age was never determined but Harrison Ford was 73 when TheForce Awakens opened so around then presuming people a long timeago in a galaxy far far away age at the same rate as Earthlings. It should be noted in the expanded universe of the books Solo isstill alive.
The actor who played him, Harrison Ford, was in a car accident when he was younger. The franchise never explains the scar.
In Star Wars terms, Han Solo was born in 29 BBY (29 years before the Battle of Yavin in Episode 4: A New Hope )
Probably Dr. Who world wide. He has been around forever and is a primary character throughout. Han is a principal as well, but was only in a few of the films. You also have to remember Dr. Who predates Star Wars.
