Zeus didn't eat his parents. His dad, Cronos, ate his 5 brothers and sisters.
The story began when Cronos killed his father then got a prophecy saying that one of his children will overthrow him. He ate everyone of his children EXCEPT Zeus. Rhea gave Cronos a rock to eat instead of Zeus. She was tricky and told a shepard to raise Zeus. He was raised by bees and a goat instead. Zeus overthrew Cronos and Cronos vomited up Zeus' brothers and sisters.
