Man did not evolve from monkeys. Man evolved from an ape ancestor that we shared with chimpanzees about 6 millions years ago. Humans and chimpanzees have been evolving ever since, so we did not evolve from chimpanzees.

There are many transitional forms between our more ape-like ancestors and modern Homo sapiens, so it's really not valid to claim that man was created in its current form by God. If you want to believe that God created life, that's fine, science doesn't currently have evidence to contradict that, but God certainly didn't create life on earth in its current form a few thousand years ago.

If you want to go further back in the evolutionary tree, all primates (including humans, apes, monkeys, and prosimians) shared a common ancestor at some point

Since the time of Darwin, evolutionary scientists have been trying to find the "missing link" that will prove man came from monkeys. To date, that has not been found. The only source to suggest anything to do with man's origin remains The Bible, which clearly states that man was created separately from the animals.

The "Theory of Evolution" basically says that higher life forms may have developed from a common simpler life form. In essence all of the primates diverged from a common bipedal mammalian vertebrate. Australopithecus currently seems like the most likely common ancestor, although the fossil evidence is pushing that line back a bit.
