Your accountant should be able to give you this information and a copy of your completed income tax return.

Other wise you would have to get the copy of the income tax return or information about your possible filed income tax return by your accountant from the IRS.

Go to the IRS gov web site and use the search box for Get A Copy of My Return

Instructions for how and when to request a copy of your tax return or a tax return transcript

If I'm married and my 2009 income is only 2000 do I need to file a tax return in 2010?

You probably aren't required to file a return. Generally, if you're Married Filing Jointly under age 65, you're not required to file a return if your gross income for 2009 is under $18,700. Although you're not required to file, you should file if you're eligible for certain credits, such as earned income or making work pay.

who is responsible for sale of stock information omited on tax return, the taxpayer and spouse or accountant ?

If you paid to have your return prepared by an accountant then you need to contact that person, providing that you gave them all correct information. They should fix this for you as long as you informed them about the stock sales. If you did not tell them, then you are responsible to pay any charges associated with penalties, and file a 1040X Amended Return. The best advice is to do this as soon as possible.
