Average Density is the total mass of an object divided by its total volume. This tells us if it is very small and has a lot of mass or that it is large and it is very light. Make sure to not get weight mixed up with weight. Im only in Grade 8!

The weight of an object is the gravitational force acting on it (W=mg), while the density of an object is its mass per unit volume.

Hope this helps,
