Anterolisthesis is the term for part of the vertebral body being abnormally positioned compared to the vertebral body below it. This is caused by the upper vertebrate slipping on the lower one. The slippage is rated 1-4 with 1 being the mild at about 20% slippage and 4 being the worse at 100%.
grade 1 of l4 and l5
What all can they do for it because I'm in pain all the time. Plus I have a buling disk. I'm doing therapy and its not helping.
Anterolisthesis of L1-L5 means that the vertebrae of the lumbar spine are not positioned correctly. The vertebrae above slips forward on the one below. There are various grades to indicate the amount of slippage. The grade range is from 1 to 4 with grade 1 being a mild slippage of about 20 percent, and grade 4 being 100 percent slippage.
Grade one anterolisthesis of C4 on c5 is mild movement of the c4 cervical disc. This is most commonly caused by a sudden trauma.
Grade 1 anterolisthesis of L5 means 20% slippage. If you have Grade 4 anterolisthesis it means 100% slippage. Slippage of the disks in your lower back, in plain terms, means the lower spine is curved out too much (spondylolisthesis) and is making the nerves not fuse. When nerves don't fuse it produces pain and then it projects to the hips and legs. The curved spine also can pinch nerves (like mine) which will cause extreme muscle spasms, along with high and shocking pain. The treatments are: physical therapy, or chiropractic and wearing support (corset) for grade 1 and 2. If your back is bad wether it's 1, 2, 3, or 4, you could have surgery, but surgery for spondylolisthesis does not commonly result in good news. The majority of people who get spondylolisthesis surgery say it made them worse. The bad news about no surgery is that women, who do not get surgery could have very painful and difficult pregnancies.
what is narrowing of the L4-5 disc mean and what can be done to treat it
strlen(s1) to find the length of the string s1 strcpy(s1,s2) copy source string to destination string(i.e copies s2 to s1,s2 remain unchanged) strcmp(s1,s2) compares s1 and s2 and prints 0 if s1 and s2 are equal,-1 if s2 is greater, 1 if s1 is greater strcat(s1,s2) combines string s1 and s2 to a single word and stores it in s1 strupr() converts lower case string to upper case strlwr() converts upper case string to lower case
It means the disk between lumbar 5 and sacral 1 is moving down on the left-center portion of the disk from where it's supposed to be. If you are having low back pain, this is likely a cause.
