Naturally. And why shouldn't they? Tolkien purists are infinitely more intelligent, thoughtful, and have more refined tastes than "Trekkies," Star Wars fanatics, Harry Potter geeks, Twi-hards, and any other fandom fans you can come up with. Tolkien purists even have the self-endowed right to look down their/our noses on movie-only fans (Unworthy of the name of Tolkien fans), bad fanfiction authors (Disgraceful!), and canon deviants in fanfiction (What in Arda Marred...).
Some Tolkien purists may exhibit a superiority complex due to their deep knowledge and passion for J.R.R. Tolkien's works. However, not all purists feel this way, as many simply have a great love for the author's writings and want to preserve the world he created. It's important not to generalize all Tolkien purists as having a superiority complex.
His superiority complex made him overconfident.

An underestimated estimate of your own value and importance. A massive inferiority complex is the exact opposite.
You shouldn't hate anyone.
What kind of dumb question is this? Everyone discriminates, it's the human condition and our ideal to get away from judgment, racism and bias.Answer 2You obviously do not know what the superiority complex is. You probably mean to say, "Why do whites believe they are superior over other races?" If anything, those racist whites have inferiority complexes, as they feel the need to prove their superiority to the other races. If they really had superiority complexes, they would dismiss their very presence, as they would feel no need to assert their superiority over someone they deem inferior.
White Americans suffered from a false sense of superiority complex
