Depending on what level of difficulty. Usually lower levels would only come two or three days, whereas higher level gymnasts go to their center around five or six days a week. Leaving not much time for school work and just hanging out with friends.
Gymnastics is a great sport and it is also one of the most difficult. I think gymnasts are inspired by the fact that most people can't do what they can and it takes hard work and effort to be good. They are inspired by how they spend so much time on one particular skill and finally accomplishing it!

No. The two events (floor and bars) are not related in skills you need to build to use the other, however gymnasts usually train all at the same time.
